The Season of Creation 2024 Liturgical Guide was approved by Bishop Paula Clark for use in the Diocese of Chicago. It includes Collects & Prayers, Litanies & Penitential Orders, Songs of Praise & Canticles, Affirmations of Faith, Eucharistic Prayers, Readings for Creation, Quotes on Creation, Prayers of the People, Music for Creation, Books & Curriculums
This is a curated liturgical resource assembled by the Rev. John Elliott Lein (priest in Maine) and the Rev. Dr. Margaret Bullitt-Jonas (Creation activist and priest in Massachusetts) from prayers, readings, and liturgies created all over the global Anglican Communion and beyond. The 2024 guide has been authorized by forty two diocesan bishops – and additional bishops may authorize the materials all the way to Sept. 1, the Feast Day of Creation and the first day of Season of Creation. The names of endorsing dioceses listed on the pdf file will be updated until Sept. 1.
